Who We Are
Break Manitoba is a Non-Profit Organization founded in 2022, supporting the growth of the Breaking (also known as breakdancing) Community within Manitoba through events, workshops, and opportunities.
Why We Exist
Our vision is to grow Manitoba into a thriving hub for breaking and hip-hop culture, where youth of all backgrounds can grow artistically, connect through community, and feel empowered through movement.
What We Do
• Supporting the growth and sustainability of the breaking community across the province on Manitoba.
• Providing accessible events, workshops, and opportunities that foster artistic development and cultural pride.
• Showcasing breaking as a positive and inclusive art form that engages the youth, empowers communities, and connects Manitoba to the national and global dancing community.
• Partnering with local organization and artists to strengthen the elements of hip-hop culture.
